Elwha RV Park & Campground offers a wide variety of RV and tent sites surrounded by forested landscapes, gardens, and peaceful open spaces. Whether you need a big-rig pull-through, a shaded back-in site, a wooded tent site, or a rustic dry-camp option, we have sites to fit every style of camping. All guests enjoy fiber-optic Wi-Fi, clean restrooms and showers, on-site laundry, walking paths, and easy access to Olympic National Park.

Big Rig Pull-Through Site

Our big rig pull-thru sites have a 30/50-AMP full hook-up (water, electric & waste dump in site). The sites measure approximately 70ft long by 30ft wide. The size is suitable for RVs between 38 and 45 feet long, plus one additional vehicle. The RV pad is graveled with a lush grassy area running the full length of the site on the passenger side. These sites have open sky and are satellite friendly. They will accommodate slide-outs on both sides. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Garden Pull-Through Site

Our garden pull-through sites have a 30/50-AMP full hook-up (water, electric, & waste dump in site). These sites have graveled beds for the RV and a family sized grassy picnic space on the passenger side. This site will accommodate slide-outs on both sides. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. These sites are a great option for families, as they have a more spacious picnic space. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table.

Standard Pull-Through Site

Our standard pull-through sites have a 30/50-AMP full hook-up (water, electric, & waste dump in site). These sites have graveled beds for the RV. They will accommodate slide-outs on both sides. These sites have either a privacy fences or a few mature trees bordering one side of the site. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Narrow Pull-Through Site

Our narrow pull-through sites have a 30/50-AMP full hook-up (water, electric, & waste dump in site). These sites measure approximately 15ft wide and are suitable for RVs with no slide-outs or a standard slide-out on one side ONLY. The sites have graveled beds for the RV and guests typically set up their picnic space behind the RV due to the site width constraint. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Premium Back-In Site

Our premium back-in sites are spacious wide sites (Approx. 80’x40′) with nature views and intermittent trees. These are back-in sites with a 30-AMP full hookup, a gravel RV pad, spacious parking for 1-2 vehicles, and a generous picnic space with a table and fire ring on the passenger side. These sites receive good sun exposure without feeling exposed to their neighbors. Some of our most requested sites by repeat guests, our premium back-in sites are great for families, parties of up to 6 guests, or couples looking for some extra space to sit out in their own yard, without being heavily shaded like in our more wooded sites.

These sites are narrow and do not accommodate slide-outs or large awnings. These sites have either a close neighbor or road on one side. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Pull-In 15-AMP Site

This pull-in site has a 15-AMP full hook-up (water, electric, & waste dump in site). It includes 15-AMP electricity, water, and septic. 15-AMPs of electricity can support a refrigerator, lights, and batteries. It will not support air conditioning. This site best accommodates vans and truck campers who can park head in, as the hookups are on the driver’s side. The site has neighbors on one side. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Woodsy Electric & Water Only Site

Our woodsy electric and water sites have water and 30-AMP electricity access at each site. These sites have intermittent trees, and many have grass within the sites. Some sites are grassy and are generally level but may require some levelling adjustments. Some sites have a gravel pad for the RV and require a longer-than-standard back-up distance to access the site. There is no septic hook-up in these sites. Our dump station is available for guests. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Rustic Electric & Water Only Site

Our rustic electric and water sites have water and 30-AMP electricity access at each site. These sites have intermittent trees, and the entire site area is graveled. To access these sites, you drive through our woodsy tenting area. While we keep branches trimmed back, we don’t recommend these sites for wide trailers or inexperienced drivers because the access road is made for cars and smaller RVs. There is no septic hook-up in these sites. Our dump station is available for guests. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Basic Electric & Water Only Site

These sites are a great simple basecamp option to get you set up with our ideal location and campground amenities along with the basic necessities available at your site.

These sites have water and 30-AMP electricity access at each site with graveled pads for the RV. There are no septic hook-ups in these sites. Our dump station is available for guests.

They are in a row of five sites and do not have landscaping or barriers between sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

The sites in this category which take large RV’s of 30′ length or more will also accommodate slide-outs on both sides. The rest are made for smaller RVs and accommodate a slide-out on one side only.

RV Dry Camping Site

Our RV Dry sites are a primitive set-up. Sites are flat grass or graveled. There are no hook-ups in the sites, however there is access to water hose for filling tanks. The sites are open sky and do not have landscaping or fences between the sites.

When to book

Spring usually lasts from March – June when the snow begins to melt and the plants begin to flower. Average high temperatures range from 51 F – 65 F.

Summer is July, August, and September when the snow on the mountains is gone and the area is vibrant with greenery and sunny days. This is the driest season when the lavender farms are in bloom and the average high temperature is 66 F – 69 F.

October is the main month for autumn when the leaves change into stunning yellows and reds and the air becomes crisp and cool with high temperatures around 57 F and the first couple freezing days make their appearance along with a popular Crab Festival.

November – February brings winter weather with a high temperature range of 46 F – 50 F and overnight lows consistently in the 30’s. The area averages 36 inches of rain a year and 3 inches of snow.
